 Recently Taser International have unveiled their latest model of stun gun available which is causing some controversy. The Taser C2 has been specifically designed for use by the general public and has an affordable price tag whilst being small enough for putting into a purse or backpack. Certainly there are a lot of people both supporters and critics who have something to say about this latest offering from Taser International when it was unveiled at the 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show that was held in Las Vegas.
The Taser C2 is about the size of a TV remote control and will be on sale from about April 2007 with a price tag of around $300. It will also be available in a range of colors (4 to be exact) and these are metallic pink, electric blue, titanium silver and pearl black.

Although many supporters of the taser will say that such devices are safe as long as they are used correctly, there are many people who believe that such devices will be used as a means for torturing somebody. However, in order to purchase one of these particular taser's a person will need to pass some very strict background checks before they can either purchase or use the device.

Certainly the good thing about this particular device is that a person can only start using the Taser C2 after they have received the activation code which and after the background check carried out by SureCheck has been completed. When considering if you wish to purchase a Taser C2 you will need to include the $10 fee for the background check that needs to be carried out.

Another added benefit to be had from the Taser C2 compared to the many other taser's on the market today is that it can be used either for preventing an attack at a distance or if an attacker gets too close. The main concerns that are being raised by law enforcement agencies with regard to the sale of the Taser C2 and it being available to the general public apart from who is actually buying one but also who is going to be using it and what they will be using it for?
